LITTLE PARADISE BOOKLAUNCH

March14

I had a lovely time at my book launch for Little Paradise. It was held at Hutong Dumpling Bar in Melbourne. The decor is old Chinese, the perfect setting as it mirrors the atmosphere of the novel. My friend and children’s author and illustrator Sally Rippin gave a beautiful speech to launch the book. Other authors were Kirsty Murray, Melina Marchetta, Meredith Costain, Leigh Hobbs, Corinne King, Wendy Orr, Krista Bell, Michael Pryor, Lili Wilkinson, Claire Saxby, Jane Godwin, Sofie Laguna, Michael Wagner and Diana Lawrenson.

Here are a selection of photos. If you are on FB you can log into ‘Gabrielle Wang Author’ to see more. The only thing I couldn’t capture were the delicious dumplings.

It was a gorgeous launch, Gabi. Lovely atmosphere and great speeches. As soon as I’d sent off my new manuscript, I snuggled down with ‘Little Paradise’ and enjoyed every word of it. What a story! Congratulations.
