School Visits and Festivals
I conduct workshops internationally as well as throughout Australia and regularly speak at literature festivals and visit primary and secondary schools to talk about books and writing. For speaking engagements contact Booked Out and in Queensland Speakers Ink.
‘The Centre for Youth Literature was delighted to have Gabrielle Wang conduct our Teenage Winter Writing Workshop in July 2010. It is a significant challenge for a writer to engage and inspire a group of young writers over a week. Gabrielle Wang did this to a very high level presenting a variety of creative tasks and challenges to the group of 15 teenagers.
Feedback form the group was extremely positive, a testament to Gabrielle Wang’s planning, adaptability and creativity.
The week ended with all students creating a zine, to encapsulate what they experienced.
I look forward to working with Gabrielle again. Her professionalism, passion and personality make her a real pleasure to work with.
